5. What is it that you want to know about Medical Malpractice? Just remember, doctors studied very hard to be able to achieve the 2 letters MD. Nobody wants to do harm to any patient nor be sued in court and loose the 2 letter, MD, just because of a single mistake. Just remember doctors are also human! Probably some things happen because it is really His will and plan for each one of us!
6. what joke. medical malpractice. trying finding a lawyer who will take case. long story short. i had phenoia. left the hosp one week later feeling worse then I went in. Was told I was fine. While in the hosp. I go up three times and tried to get dressed, so I could go to a different hosp. They refused to transport me. and because of my condition they would not release me to anyone. went home and got sicker and sicker home two days and back at dr. told me i was fine and to go home. kept going back every week sicker and sicker. same on thing I was fine and to go home. I asked to be refered to a pulminologist and was told there was no need for me to see one. ( lung dr) I told my dr. that I would make an apt with another dr in clinic and he said no need I consulted with all the dr. and you are fine. then they found a white spot on my lung when doing x ray. was told it was normal. part of the phenoia healing. I begged for a referal again and again. would not give me one. ended up in ER again and told dr. I wanted to die. She could not believe I was not refered to a pulmnologist and I said I asked over and over and was told I was fine and that so and said he consulted with all of you. She said he never consulted with me. Went to the pulminologist, my lungs were full of fluid and it was infected and eating wholes through my left lung. I needed emergency surgery to remove four parts of my left lung. without the surgery. They gave me three months maybe a year to live. But I would be alive by machines. Spent 30 plus days in hospital. Went through living hell. Cut from mid of back to mid under breast and cracked ribs to get to my lung. Had 30 some stiches. Spent months on oxygen afterwards. Can not find a lawyer who will take my case.
7. people make mistakes. my son has a kidney condition caused by drugs used for his heart. repeated kidney scans may have damaged his fertility. im happy hes alive. its a big deal to have someones life in your hands. i think that most doctors do the best they can.
