Being the parent of a 16yr. old can I Do a Medical Power of Attorney giving my sister thoes powers?

  1. Go see a lawyer, he can draw up the papers for a small cost, and you will know it is done right.
  2. You can grant those to anyone you wish. Remember you can state a length of time that they have those powers too. Also, you can write it into your will for a little more sticking power if need be.
