Medical Malpractice Attorneys and Lawyers

In Nevada, can I use a medical durable power of attorney for?

I'm 26, no medical issues or mental health issues. I want an advanced directive with DNR, no feeding tubes, etc. In Nevada you have to have a terminal illness. Can I use a Medical Durable Power of Attorney for this issue? I wouldn't want to appoint anyone to make these decisions, I would want it spelled out in black and white. Also, what's a cheap but legally binding way of doing this? Thanks!

  1. Here's the ugly truth. It doesn't matter what you do. If any family member objects to your directions and you are incapacitated, it's going to court. It sucks but it's true. No hospital is going to get into the middle of that kind of dispute without a court order.
  2. I know it isn't funny but, gather up all your relatives and tell them if anyone goes against your wishes, they are OUT OF YOUR WILL! OR move to Oregon!! I can never understand why a family member would want to prolong your pain for whatever reason they may have!!
