Medical Malpractice Attorneys and Lawyers

Appellate lawyer question.?

Could anyone tell me what appellate lawyer’s day at work is like? i.e, the time spent actually ARGUING cases, time spent at the library/lexis nexus researching cases that will be argued, interviewing clients, etc? Do appellate lawyers specialize in, for example, medical malpractice as a trial lawyer would, or is their practice more generalized? Anything else you would like to add would be helpful. Thanks!

  1. An appellate lawyer can specialize but many like variety so they could handle appeals of all sorts (criminal, juvenile dependency, civil litigation)...
