Where can I find insurance for the risks of medical complications from using an egg donor or surrogacy?
My husband and I are considering using an egg donor or surrogate mother to help us have a child. Our attorney tells us we will be totally responsible for any medical expenses resulting from complications to the donor or surrogate. This is not covered by health insurance. Where do I get insurance for this?

- Brown & Brown of Texas (a subsidiary of one of the world's largest insurance brokers) offers this exact coverage. Any medical complication from infertility treatment is covered for egg donor (s), recipient (s) surrogates (surrogacy). Their program is the leading provider of this coverage in the world. They typically sell this insurance through fertility clinics or agencies (sometimes through physician's practices or law firms that specialize in this).
