Where can I find success statistics on lawyers?

I am located in Michigan and I am in search of a lawyer who specializes in medical malpractice/negligence cases. Please let me know if you know anyone! :) By success, I suppose I mean the number of cases that are settled out of court. Or lawyers who are just good at what they do and are willing to take on larger practices.

1. Well, define "success", especially since those types of cases are generally settled confidentially.
2. There are no such stats because there is no definition of success. Good reason, too. Suppose before trial the doctor's insurer offered to settle a case for $100,000. The offer was refused and the matter went to trial. The jury found for the plaintiff but awarded a grand total of one hundred bucks. To those who do not know about the pre-trial offer ( to the whole world), it looks like a victory but in fact the trial was flop. That is why there no statistics.
