1. yes, most are Md's already who go back to college to get a Law degree...
2. Only if they went to medical school. There are some attorneys that have phds also. Usually though they use records they request from the medical profession to prove there cases.
3. Yes, the Good one's do. They attend lectures and have librays of medical taxts. Over the years they utilize experts and lean and reatian the knleledge. While thaey are no ready to practice medicine, they have knowlege of many type of comon injures and treatment, as well as reaseach and expert assistance as to failures of treatment known as medical malpractice.
4. Yes, some of them are already Doctors, but if not it is simple to find a Doctor who specializes in testifying at hearings or in court. All it takes is money and one can buy an expert wittness.
5. Most do not, however, we have access to medical experts that can competantly explain any issue involved in a lawsuit.
